Details on 12 recent homicides and three older cases

The Homicide Report has updated 12 recent homicides that occurred in Los Angeles County, and has obtained new information on three older cases. Click on the victim's name for more information.

David Jerome Scott, 31, shot to death Wednesday, May 21 in Compton.

Jose Garcia, 28, found stabbed to death Saturday, May 24 in Green Meadows.

Devonte Laray Bowie, 18, shot to death Saturday, May 24 in Watts.

John Louis Vasquez, 27, died after getting into a fight Saturday, May 24 in Lennox.

Cedrick Tyrone McClair, 34, shot to death Saturday, May 24 in Long Beach.

Enrique Zarate Lopez, 31, shot to death Monday, May 26 in Long Beach.

Irving Serrano, 23, shot to death Monday, May 26 in Highland Park.

Margaret Mae Rion, 57, found dead Tuesday, May 27 in Lakewood.

Sidney Bernard McGee, 48, shot to death Tuesday, May 27 in Florence.

Aram Sashoyan, 29, shot to death Wednesday, May 28 in Koreatown.

Micah Hatten, 16, died Thursday, May 29, after being stabbed in Norwalk.

Tijuan Folks, 29, shot to death Monday, June 2 in Broadway-Manchester.

Details on three older cases:

Miguel Montanez was sentenced April 3 for the 2010 shooting death of 26-year-old Danny Renteria Jr. in Bellflower.

Damiean Johnson was sentenced Jan. 16, 2009 in the Leimert Park stabbing death of Sophia Elaine Broussard, 38.

Jonathan Banks was sentenced Jan. 29, 2010 in the Baldwin Hills/Crenshaw shooting death of Kaitlyn Avila, 3.
