The Clippers ended their two-game losing streak with an 89-76 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday in their second leg of a back-to-back.
They took their biggest lead of the game in the fourth quarter at 21 points, and went on to outshoot the Timberwolves from the field, 44.3% to 37.3%, and from beyond the three-point line, 35.5% to 25%.
J.J. Redick led the Clippers with 26 points on 10-for-19 shooting. DeAndre Jordan had 20 points and 17 rebounds. Austin Rivers and Matt Barnes each added 13 points.
Chris Paul played Monday even though he and Stephen Curry knocked knees in Sunday's game against the Warriors. Paul had an X-ray of his left knee Sunday, which came back negative, but Paul was not himself, scoring only two points on one-for-six shooting while getting 15 assists.
Blake Griffin (right elbow) and Jamal Crawford (right calf bruise) missed Monday's game.
The Timberwolves were without Anthony Bennett (sprained right ankle), Robbie Hummel (fractured right hand) and Shabazz Muhammad (had surgery to repair a ruptured ligament in the middle finger on his left hand). Kevin Garnett also did not play because of knee soreness.
The Clippers are in fifth place in the Western Conference with a record of 41-23, while the Timberwolves are in last place with a record of 14-48.
The Timberwolves were trying to put together just their second win streak of the season, after beating Portland on Saturday.
Adreian Payne led the Timberwolves with 16 points and 15 rebounds. The next highest scorer for Minnesota was Nikola Pekovic, who had 12 points and 10 rebounds.
The Clippers next play at Oklahoma City on Wednesday.
